Master of Psychology (Counselling) MAPS
Lynette is an experienced and knowledgeable psychologist who provides counselling and therapy to clients of all ages. She is skilled in delivering therapeutic strategies for individuals with autism and developmental disorders. Lynette has a special interest in working with adolescents and children struggling with anxiety and depression. Lynette also has experience in counselling children, adolescents and young adults for a wide range of issues. Lynette completed her Master of Counselling Psychology at Monash University. She is trained in suicide intervention, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She has worked as an ABA therapist for over seven years. Lynette believes in a strength-based approach to promote self-esteem and general wellbeing.
Lynette has worked in community, university, school and early intervention settings providing support for school teachers, children, parents, and adults. She is a registered psychologist, a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and an approved provider under the DSS (previously FaHCSIA) Helping Children with Autism package. Lynette is available for appointments on Mondays and Saturdays.
